Using Skype for Business

I remember just 2 years ago when the idea of video conference or VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) was a joke. Choppy video. Poor audio quality. Hardware on your PC that made the mice and video unreliable. Oh what 2 years of tech advancements can do.
I you are looking for a way to connect in a more personal way with your clients then Skype may be the answer for you. There are paid services you can use. Go to Meeting. Go to Webinar are viable options…if you’ve got the cash.
A FREE alternative is Skype:

Skype IS NOT just video calls. You can also use it for voice only calls, and you can share your desktop or a region of your desktop. One very handy tool when I am providing support or coaching for my clients is to be able to see what they are seeing
The downside is that not everything is free. If you want to call someone who IS NOT on skype then you have to pay for that.
Though Skype may be the perfect solution for someone that is running a home business or a business that is out of the office most days.
